Ha. That was awesome.

Cause I am not gonna argue with you anymore.

Because you know I'm right and you don't know how to defend your beliefs. This is what all the Christians I've challenged ended up saying when they could no longer refute me. It's pathetic really. But hey, if you wanna be stupid, be stupid.

Because you know I'm right and you're afraid I'll single-handedly disprove the existence of your peice of shit God. If this weren't the case, you'd be able to argue back and prove me wrong. I gave you proof, now refute it, smartypants.

I see evidence for a deistic Creator, not the theistic God you espouse. In other words, I see evidence that some supreme being was here, but isn't around anymore.

If there is a God, prove it. I don't need to provide proof for the non-existence of something.

And I know for a fact you have no proof for the existence of God. I looked for that proof for years back when I was a Christian. I couldn't find anything proving God was there.

That can hardly be called proof of God. Honestly, do you believe everything your told without question? So your little site says that a light appeared above Branham's head and that a picture shows it. Who's to say the light was any evidence of God? Who's to say there even was a light? The only evidence is that picture. Perhaps Lacy was lying. FBI people are known to do that. Besides, Lacy didn't say anything about God. He said that the streak above Branham's head resulted from light striking the negative. It could have been anything. Only the foolish are quick to jump to supernatural conclusions.

Before I say anything, let me make it clear that what you said didn't answer my question. It doesn't even sound like your own words. So I'm still left wondering, how do you know Branham was led by God?

quote:
The effects of this ministry have not been diminished by the passing of time. Today there are an estimated half-million people worldwide who are followers of the Message which God delivered to His people through the ministry of Brother Branham.

500,000 people. Wow, that's quite a lot of people. There are more Zoroastrians than that, and their religion was almost wiped out a few thousand years ago. The point is, if Branham was such a pivotal man, how come few people have heard of him? What happened to his ministry? You say it's still going strong, but you're the only person I know who's even mentioned Branham. And I know a lot of people.

Also, you still haven't made a distinction between Branham and mere psychics and magicians. "Extraordinary demonstrations of the supernatural"? That could be describing David Copperfield. Does that mean David Copperfield is a God-ordained prophet?

These are serious questions. I want answers.

Paranoid schizophrenia.

Most of them I have met (which have been MANY) either: a. "talk"/hear/feel/etc demons or b. talk/here/feel God.

how do you know Branham was led by God?

In this generation, nearly two thousand years since the beginning of the apostolic age, the people of the twentieth century have also witnessed the ministry of a vindicated prophet of God. His name was William Marrion Branham, and his ministry fulfilled the Old Testament prophesy of Malachi 4:5 (Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD).

Not since Bible days has the world witnessed anything that can be compared to the ministry of Brother Branham. When he appeared on the national scene in 1946, it produced a spark that ignited a period of great healing revivals that swept across America and around the world.

To this day, he is acknowledged by Christian historians as the “father” and “pacesetter” of the 1950s healing revival that transformed the Pentecostals and ultimately gave rise to the Charismatic movement, which today influences nearly every Protestant denomination.*

For twenty years, and before millions of people, William Branham demonstrated the Gift of Discernment and the Word of Knowledge (knowing the secrets of a person’s heart) with an unerring accuracy that had never before been seen, and has never since been duplicated.

His healing ministry was legendary, yet in the opinion of many, he wasted the great gift that God had given him by trying to preach. Few church leaders were able to see past his lack of education and recognize the purpose of the gift, which was not to attract attention to the man, but to the Word that was being restored. The promise of Matthew 17:11 was being fulfilled: “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.”

There was a reason why God chose William Branham to be His Voice to this generation. He was a man who was not shaped to a theological conformity or influenced by denominational barriers, therefore he did not hesitate to point people away from all man-made creeds and traditions, and back to the original Word, just as it was taught by the apostolic fathers. He had no ambitions or agendas of his own, choosing instead to remain a humble servant of God, never aspiring to a lavish lifestyle or promoting himself above others. He lived his life in total surrender to the leadership of the Holy Ghost.

The profound anointing that surrounded his ministry, and the extraordinary demonstrations of the supernatural that occurred throughout his lifetime clearly identified him as a God-ordained prophet.

The effects of this ministry have not been diminished by the passing of time. Today there are an estimated half-million people worldwide who are followers of the Message which God delivered to His people through the ministry of Brother Branham. Millions of books containing his sermons are printed annually. Translation work is presently being carried out in more than 40 languages. Hundreds of thousands of his tape recordings are distributed each year. Missionary endeavors span the entire globe.

He was not a psychic either.
