The upside down cross and upside down pentagram are the two most commonly known symbols associated with satanism.

I'm short on time so I only skimmed over the posts so I don't know if this is already in there but many people think a pentagram is a satanic symbol but it isn't it is a wiccan symbol. I guess that is because many people consider wicca satanic worship.
