Slashiroth, please don't say that (that is, that something's "gay"). It's more than a pet peeve to me, it's offensive.
Artemis, why did he make it "illegal"? Was it because of the gay guys on the homepage that one time? And that leads to the question: is your school religious?

Off topic, but I used to make a game out of trying to figure out the trigger words.
At a high school level, it was always annoying when you were trying to do research during class, and the sites you wanted were blocked, yet myspace and the like weren't.
Our principal made Youth Noise illgeal at our school, but hasn't blocked it. Our homeroom teacher still lets us go on. Hate principal. Love homeroom teacher.
cause my dad dislikes the site and has heard bad stuff about it.

What the hell is your problem? That's a way to get suspended and have your tech agreement revoked. Why not just wait till the end of the day and go home and do whatever you feel you need to do on a forbidden site. Sheesh.
There is a way to get around the blocking. Go to Google and type in the site. Then from there just click "cached" or whatever it is and you'll get right through it all. You wont be able to do much but you still get through.
Our future is burning red hot with causes, but are hiding in the winds of change. Now its time to raise the stakes.
Many are now because of threats and fights being caused by what goes on on the myspace accounts. School admins from my high school actually went online and checked into those students that openly identified as myspace users who went to the school and found a death threat and drug & alcohol comments. They suspended the death threat kid for five days and sent letters home addressing the use of drugs and booze home to parents. Also, I guess a general letter was sent home to parents to make them aware of the site and to monitor activities on that site closely. A little over the top, but they had heard from other schools that it was causing serious safety issues, so the admin investigated...

I have my own computer, but the internet connection is so bad it can't do anything. And anyway, since I board, my connection comes through the school filters. I suggest using guardster.com. It is really useful for seeing websites off here, like the Church of Satan which is blocked because of the word occult in it somewhere.
