okay hey, who the hell do you get around the school firewall? ive been to other sites one my school computer where they have porn, but wen i try to go to myspace it dnt allow me. what the hell? it almost ddnt alow me to get to this. so how do i get thru the firewall? i was going to trans.voila.fr it went to this french site n fromt here i could get to myspace, but apparently i cant ne more. they dnt allow us to got o trans.voila.fr and i tried going to all the places mentioned in here, but it blocks them all. okay wtf? what is the point of haveing internet? and by the way, a way u mite be able to get pics go to http://www.aol.com and then go to pictures and type something in and it comes up, not blocked, yey! lol. maybe i can go to the library and try to get where i need to go to (of campus lunch) but yeah, untill then...
In school we have everything blocked and i hate it. It doesn't make any sense and your right what is the point of having internet and you can't get on anything at all. But we found a website called wujie.net but they found that out and now it is blocked to.
So my friend was fooling around online @ school to see what sites he could google without them being blocked. He typed in the word "gay." The filter screen came up and said that it blocked it because of (im going to quote it) "Category: Lifestyle" Im not gay but isn't that wrong?

And Banshee yea it is possible to figure out a way to get around it but it isn’t worth it. ************* is a splendid risk free way of bypassing the school firewall. Now you don't have to risk getting in trouble because of one, changing settings or two, being caught. Furthermore, I don’t quite believe that you could find a way around a firewall. By the way, please don’t doubt what I could do. I could do many things with a computer; I’m a programming minor. I would explain the simple methods of changing a few settings through dos to get by your school firewall however I highly doubt your pathetically minuscule mind could take such information. And bella, unfortunately it is you who whom I taught had "real intelligence", for you failed to derive that the use of words were to implicate the magnitude of what wwwsurfatwork could do. In simple terms, what I was saying was that you could go to any site using surfatwork. I’m sorry that you did not understand. And bella, on a different note, why is it wrong to stop people from what they want to do? Considering it doesn’t hurt or harm anything.

i only go on the computer when im in ibs (in building suspension) cuz there is notinhg else to do but yeah they block like almost every website. The only wedsite i could get on was this one. but oh well
My school sheilds things as well, and it used to include MSN, not anymore thank the Lady.
I have my own computer, but the internet connection is so bad it can't do anything. And anyway, since I board, my connection comes through the school filters. I suggest using guardster.com. It is really useful for seeing websites off here, like the Church of Satan which is blocked because of the word occult in it somewhere.

The only sites I routinely go to (and have to get around a block to get to) are a few email sites. Nothing potentially dangerous. And it's fairly easy to get to a couple of them. It involves modifying the "Allowed Sites" list in Internet Explorer. So far, I've only gotten it to work with Gmail and Earthlink Webmail. I won't tell you how to do it, though, because I'm person of impeccable moral fiber and would never stoop so low as to assisting people to break the rules.
I hope you know I was only kidding about the moral fiber bit.

Oh my god... do I have the solution for you! My friends friends lol created this website. You see, you go the website right, however in that website is another web browser...so a web browser ina web browser. So the log shows your at the site but then you cuold be doing anything. HEHEHE are you ready, lol the answer to all your problems. http://www.surfatwork.net on the log it says surfatwork.net however you could be on anything. I mean you could even be on porn sites... the log only shows surfatwork.net, not the website you are on. Yes yes you could thank me later.
basic bypass for comerrcial internet blocker go to yahoo or google and enter "start using cgi proxy" in to a net search depending on your school alot will be blocked to you will find one that works also try jay's cgi proxy any way if those proxys don't help theres nothing I can do oh and by the way deleteing history and cookies extend proxy life
