People used to say that I seemed too happy and well-adjusted to hurt myself, and now here I am saying it about you. But I can understand the sort of challenge...no, that's not the word. But you know what I mean, kind of a test for yourself that cutting provides. I used to burn myself, not cut, and I would see how long I could keep my hand (or wherever) on the iron, or the burner, would it be long enough to scar, or blister...would I do it where someone could see it...crud like that.
