I have been homeschooled for four years now.
Many people I know are against it. Anyone else homeschooled? Anyways, I don't miss out on much because I am very active at my church,
I play sports, and am involved in countless other things. Do you think that homeschooling is a good way of being educated? If not, I agree with you only on the fact that you find out your grades right away. You should understand that we are still being taught the same things you are being taught in your schools. We are just schooling at home instead of at a school building. What do you think?

Okay, i homeschooled for 2 years, grade 8 and grade 9. i taught myself both years by myself, my mom worked full time and so did my dad. In my grade 9 year i also taught my sister grade 8.

now, at the time, i didn't mind homeschooling, i mean i didn't know anything else. But honestly once i got back into public school i struggled socially. Personally i would never homeschool my kids, you learn other things in school other than book stuff that you can't learn at home. Like how to healthely interact with your peers and stuff, homeschooling really stunts your social development. School is designed to teach you skill that you need to succeed in life, and i'm not saying that people who don't go to school can't succeed, i'm just saying it puts them at an extreem disadvantage.

I haven't ever considered being homeschooled! And I don't think I would ever. It's not that I'm afaid of not learning what everyone else is, but rather that I wouldn't be around friends and experience a regualar childhood. Plus, when you grow older and stuff, you're going to have to deal with people, you can't just hide away for the rest of your life. Two of my friends (One being one of my best friends) have recently been withdrawn from the school I go to. I can only email them and I don't ever see them anymore. And I know that they both use drugs. I can't possibly imagine a life of being homeschooled. That would SUCK!

I was thinking about homeschooling, but I was afraid that I wouldn't see my friends anymore. Has anyone out there switched from regular school to homeschool? Do you still see your friends? What's it like when you're around them now? Are things like they used to be, or are things weird?

My mom was thinking about homeschooling me because a few weeks before school was going to start, I had to get this big operation and I was still weak from it so my doctors and my mom was thinking about homeschooling me but in the end I didn't do it, I had to go to school. Roll Eyes
Well, I think homeschooling sounds good, it sounds better than going to school.
Well, that's what I think.
That's all I have to say
Bye N have a nice day
