OOh, so it's you again "Drstrangelove". We're meeting quite offen then aren't we. Anyways, with the Elvis pictures and what not, that is kind of odd. No one does that at my school.

I actually had these two twins at my high school who greased their hair and wore shirts with pictures of elvis on them. That was a bit odd.

Mostly though, kids wear what they're told to by various sources and peers. Always has been that way, and probably will be for a long time to come. We're just seeing the effect of profiteering combined with normal societal trends. Huzzah.

Greasers are people who dress kind forties, fifty-ish. Ya know when Elvis Presley was cool. That's what ther're into. Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, and vintage cars and stuff like that. Like the movie Grease. How the girls and guys dress in that movie, they dress like that at school.Except they don't we're skirts too much. Just jeans folded at the bottom with black converse shoes or boots.

I'd have to say that home made cloths are starting to become popular at my highschool. My friend made a really cool dress outa her dads old jeans dont ask me how i dont know **** bout sewing but it looks sweet

Generic... generally the same thing according to whatever clique they claim to identify with, with minor variations.

yeah, my school is a mix between prep and "ghetto" ( i guess that's what you mean by hip-hopper?) and what's pretty funny is that its cool to be punk and skater and so they sell punk clothes at prep stores, so punk clothes are kinda preppy...

whatevers popular, sorta prep/punkish i guess.

Hip-hoppers. That does sound funny doesn't it. Maybe its because it sounds like grasshoppers. Well, I have no idea what a greaser dresses like. I guess I am sort of into the surfing brands, but more recently the stuff with like vintage advertisements on them like concert posters and stuff like that.

Hip-hopper...that sounds funny... lol well im a prep but almost my entire school is bein all generation punk... god only knows why, but ya they are. so the funny thing is, punks are sposed to wanna be different than everyone and rebel and stuff... but obviously if they were a prep they would be more different than being a punk like everyone else!! funny world, eh? lol
