___I think it's more stupid to get offended by a stereotype, than to use one. It's like you all keep saying, "How personal is it really?". It isn't creative, accurate or witty so how does it always work out being so mean? Ignorant people are impossible to avoid your entire life, the only way to cut down on labelling is to stop paying so much attention when it happens. As soon as it morphs into an insult that is affectively insulting, you'll never see the end of it.

this is stupid. "preppy people". if someone falls under the "preppy" category, it doesn't mean anything. it is like... saying someone is a "blonde". there are stereotypical blondes and stereotypical preps. but their personalities go beyond the stereotypical categorizations. except in movies. lol.

I dont have a problem with preppy people I have a problem with people that think its cool to dress like punks goths etc and talk about how they dont give a **** about what others think about how they dress and at the same time make fun of people that dress "preppy"

I don't have a problem with preppy people, I don't have a problem with goths, punks, jocks, nerds, skaters, posers, or any of the lables. I don't really rely on lables to tell my who a person is, A person can be preppy and be a total B!tch, or a person can be preppy and be really nice, same with any lables.

I think what makes a prep is someone who wears preppy clothes (whatever those would be to you), is kinda prissy/girly, is probably a chearleader, ect.

I'm not a prep. I don't really fit into an label, I'm just me, whatever label that would be.
