Private schools are too expensive and too strict...public school is more fun (for me at least). They might get a better education, I don't know. Actually, they probably do, because the public schools around here are given like no money from the school board. But hey, I'm surviving.

And I agree with veggiechick, they seem to be too religious. I couldn't walk around all day with people telling me to do my work or else god will strike me down. Not happening.

Also, at the private schools around here, they apparently hit kids, and I'd end up getting expelled for hitting a teacher back. So there's no point in me even going to one.

And private schools are like $8000 a year...I don't see how anybody could have that kind of money just laying around to spend on going to a private school. I don't see what's so great about private school anyways that they would want to spend $8000 a year...they seem so boring. But whatever floats your boat. If you like private schools and go to one/want to go to one...more power to you.

I didn't realize there was a stereotype. And it's not an issue of money; most private schools seem to be religious and I am an athiest.
