I think this is such BS that students are being censored on a day to day basis. We dont leave or freedom of speech rights at the door when we walk into class.Its not right how we are being punished for expressing artistic views and being punished for it.My school called a T-shirt from Hot Topic with a picture of HIM on it, a distraction to others and i just got suspended for 5 days!!! comments please is this or isnt this a complete pill of s**t??

i can understand why the military does what they do. its just some people are so motivated that they take it to the extreme. if i ran the navy we would be able to grow out beards and smoke while loading ordnance...the way the navy used to be. there even used to be a law stating that at lunch time you could have 2 beers. how flippin sweet would that be.

I can't be the only one who's ever wondered at how the ones who preserve our freedoms have the least...

I mean, I can understand it to keep the military orderly and all, but it still seems awfully ironic.

Yes i was complaining....sort of. now ive always had sort hair (except for my sideburns) and have hardly worn ripped jeans and ratty tees. im simply stating that people in HS have no idea how easy they have it and how slack most schools are. so they made you change a shirt. big fucking deal. im sure they didnt just suspend them for wearing the shirt, im sure theres more to this story than what Daniella has told. and yes it was my choice. a choice that most people choose not to do and im proud to serve my country. what the hell have you done for this country?

I think it's obvious he wasn't bitching about it, but rather comparing his position where the stuff the the OP or veggie (or whoever) was talking about was trivial compared to a situation where you're really constricted.
