I don't know if this is the right place for this... So I thought we could have a thread on what people want to do later on in their lives...what do you want to study in college? do you even want to go to college? and what do you want to do with your life in general? goals...? I don't know, all of that.

I want to go be a writer/journalist. Be able to make a nice living doing what I love. I don't need mansions or fast 2 million dollar cars. just a comfortable life. I would like to find the girl that is like me. Crazy. strange. with a sense of beauty. I'd like to have a son or daughter that I can be there for. I'd like to live to see the end of this War. I'd like to help people with my writing. Have some recognition but not too much. Live a nice Good life. Blessings

perhaps journalism?
Me teaching and me being a journalist is quite laughable.

I think I'm actually going to recommend journalism to my sister. She wants to major in english or music. My mom, used to her older daughter who decided on the pre-law path, doesn't feel that these are good options. (Which, I really can't blame her on that one...my sister doesn't want to teach, so it kind of limits what she can do with either of those degrees.) I really am hating this business certificate at the moment. Accounting will be the death of me...just you wait.

Because I have nothing better to do I will actually think about this for a while. I think a career in Art Therapy would be very interesting. Probably because I have had my share of horrible therapists and I hope that maybe I could be a better one. Other than that I don't know of anything else. Maybe something to do with History since I find it very interesting. I really want to visit Auschwitz. Seeing other concentration camps would be cool to. WWII and more specifically the totalitarians of Europe and the Holocaust is fascinating to me. College-wise I have been hoping one going to a college in either Boston (BU), Chicago, or Colorado. I would be happy though with anywhere out side of California and not definitely not Georgia.

I don't. I'm a second semester Freshman. In a year, I have to know my major, which gives some inkling that I know what I want to do with my life. Besides, life's short and we never have as much time as we think we do.

Meh...I don't know what I want to do. I have absolutely no idea where I'm going in life.

I thought about that as well but I think you learn not to, as well as with other people.

I want to be a writer. My dream job would be to write screenplays (since all the stories I come up with have pre-planned soundtracks ), but being a novelist or a columnist would kick ass. I hope it works out. Maya I thought about psychology because it really is interesting but I was afraid I would overanalyze myself to the point of insanity. So I had to throw that idea away lol

I like Ikki's(same here). I want to find something to study that I find somewhat interesting, and then find some kind of job that I can deal with doing for "the rest of my life"(ok not really but that's what it is practically, so a job that is not going to drive me insane), maybe become a psychologist...I don't know really. Everything is up in the air.
