I play trombone in concert and marching band. I love it. I played flute for a little while, but it didn't compare. I love band and its definitely something I will always remember. Brass all the way!

Even if they look sexually active, that doesn't mean they are or that people aren't worse. Do you mean Clarinet? "You learn about equality in the classroom but you find out about it in life" - Campus Confidential www.myspace.com/yogore

BAND GEEKS FOREVER!!! Sorry, when I hear people talking about the coolness of band, I get all teary eyed. *wipes away tear of pride* I've played clarinet for almost 6 years now and the alto sax for about two. I'm in marching band too. I'm the coolest alto sax/clarinet player in Washington. Not to mention probably the only...

When I was in high school I played the trombone in orchestra and marching band. I have been playing it for 9 years...yay.
I like these calm little moments before the storm.

I am not in the band but I respect the people who are. Much props to you.

I totally agree!! I've been playing the violin for like seven years and I never get tired of it. My school has all sorts of music groups. There is this one school in my city that has steel drum classes. Ahh that must be sweet .

Can someone tell me what a tuba is? I've a friend who says he plays it but I have simply no clue what he's talking about.

I <3 silver french horns. I've had mine for nearly 4 years. Ah good times. French horn is not subpar to violins and violas! There are 4 hrons in an orchestra but a million violins! French horns are the elitist group :P Although I do love violins when they play well. What's a chamber orchestra exactly Gem? I really would like to learn Cello though.
I don't know about orchestra (obviously) but french horn definitely surpasses violins and violas (even though I want to learn violin). ....yeah, my bf plays french horn. He finally got a silver one for Christmas this year. Cello is pretty hot too but I'd rather learn violin.
