I don't see why God needs to be barred from the great education our country gives. I say if God wants an education and so chooses using our public school system, nobody should block god from learning. Of course, it matters if he's a tax-paying U.S. citizen too, we don't want any freeloaders now do we? All joking aside, the subject of religion and religious beliefs have no place in public schools. If you need reason, there's the First Amendment of the Constitution. quote: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
That's it, Talk about religion all you want with your peers during school, if the subject comes up in class conversation, talk about it, as long as religion is not actively encouraged or sanctioned by employees of the school system during school time. Like it or not, that's how this country was founded, if you want a faith-based curriculum go to a private school.

Outlawing all religion would be forcing non-religiousness on people. But that won't happen any time soon.

There are other things also that can't be weighed. Do you beleive in love? Do you beleive in compassion? Spirit? Trust? Character? Sure they are just qualities but people beleive that they have them.

In public schools you shouldn't be taught religions they should just be allowed. Open for discussion among students and such. Not taught.

Yes. He should be taught that he is a theory and might exist. The same goes for the Big Bang theory.

Air and the waves from cell phones can both be measured quantitatively. As far as I know, there's no way to measure deities. "Yup... that there is 73.419 kilograms of god."

First, I am going to say that I agree with Teddy and LaVinnia (I think that I spelled it right). quote: Can you see Him? Can you hear Him? Can you feel Him?
I will agree that I can't see him. But alot of things people can't see and yet they beleive that they are there. Do you beleive that you exist? If you do then you more than likely beleive in the cells and things that make up your composition. You can't see those and yet you beleive in them. Yes, to some point you can see them (such a telescope or another instrument) and I beleive to some point you can see God (like when you die, or in miracles or things). I don't agree that you can't hear Him or feel Him. YOU may not be able to hear Him but I think that you CAN. YOU may not be able to feel Him but I think you CAN. I beleive that I can feel Him and hear Him. I beleive that He is there. It just takes a matter of beleif. That's all that religion is. It's beleifs. ~!SaRaH!~
