Well to let u all on a lil secret about God attending skool & if hes @ all allowed to come on campass Gods already n skool. Think about alot of skools (teaher wise) are not being fare w/religion w/students attending skool. The Flag is a religion flying n the air on a pole. When u say the "pledge of alligence" you mention gods name & then mayb when you bring a bible to skool its sumthing totally different ppl get affended & dont like prayers whats so different about 1 book like the rest of the books around campass. You learn about a type of history not specifically saying religious history butt types of history n general. Religion is mention all over the place. & alot of teens/ppl dont c that. They teach you w/out probably knowing they taught you. N skool for ppl n general they get stomped all the time for their beliefs & sum dont. Well g/g have neighbors to c & things to discuss. Butt ill b back, cant wait to c whats ben wirtten n a few hrs. from now.

First, I'm going to assume that you meant "should religion be allowed in public schools?" Should God be allowed in public schools? Well, I can't exactly stop a diety from walking in the door...

I do believe that religious discussion amongst students should be allowed, although I don't think teachers should be able to take sides. A teacher taking a side in such an important argument just seems a little unfair. No one wants to have their opinion insulted by a teacher, who they feel that they can't quite "talk back to." When I was in the tenth grade my English III class had some great religious discussions, and I enjoyed them even though they were usually me against the whole class. Discussions like that open up everyone's minds to the opposite of their opinion, and it never hurts to get some insight.

There are matters of a religious nature that I don't feel belong in public schools. I don't think that the advocation of only one religion should be allowed. If the school wishes to post religious documents on the walls, they should fairly represent each religion. I don't think that led prayer should be allowed in public schools. I strongly support a moment of silence so that students can pray individually. Students should be able to pray whenever they like, as long as the situation isn't one where an entire school (or class) is led in a prayer. If individual clubs wish to have a led prayer, they should be able to. If a member of the club has a problem with that, they should be able to either vote down the idea or find a compromise.

I believe that students should be able to wear religious symbols. I don't believe that schools should be able to tell one student to take off his/her religious symbol while allowing another student to wear his/her's.

Basically, I don't have a problem with religion in public schools, I just believe that it should be left up to the individual. Public schools shouldn't be able to promote only one religion, but if they wish to respect all equally, then that's fine.

I think God should be allowed in school. But, I don't think it's right to step on what other people believe in. If someone doesn't believe in God, don't nag them by telling them HOW WRONG they are and what they SHOULD DO, Don't criticize them.
That doesn't help very much...............BUT if you really do believe its right to believe in God and you want that person to see that.
Why don't you TALK to them, ask them why they don't believe in God. Don't ask them in a FREAKED OUT way, just as a friend. Listen to what they have to say and DON'T correct them, like your right and they're wrong. NO one really knows what's wrong in this world!!!!!! If you want to change what they believe in..............then try to do it step by step, don't push them into anything and if they say, "no" about something that you think could help, then just say, "ok, I understand but you know my doors are always open" Let them make the choice NOT you.
I think bvelieving in God or anything for that matter is a choice that that person and that person ALONE makes.......... NOT no one else.
Piont being, I think God Should be allowed.............BUT if God is allowed in school THEN every other religion or what other people believe in should be allowed in school too because It won't be fair for the other people. They will feel like they NEED to BELIEVE in God, just to feel wanted in that school or some might get PISSED OFF because your kind of steeping on what they believe in, your not trying to, your really a good person trying to do good but they WON'T see it that way.
So I change my mind, I kind of don't know if it would be THE BEST THING TO DO THAT. I don;t think The world is ready for that.
Bye N Have a nice day
