Just a couple days ago during one of my classes I actually had a teacher talking to another student about drugs. I mean, he wasn't telling him not to, he was laughing with him about it, and it made me really mad. I'm a recovering drug abuser and I didn't think it was right for him to be doing that. He should've told him how wrong it was!!!!!! All my teachers are like that. They see kids passing pills or hear them talking about drugs and they don't do anything!!!! That is why I hate my school!!!!! Mad

I think that the teacher was just posing his opinion. Our history teacher jokes about the keg parties that kids (not me) go to. But then again our teachers go and sit in the bar for five hours after school on Friday. Now they park in the back so no one can 'see' their cars. Yea Right!

This has nothing to do with drugs but this has something to do with teachers.

I realizes that teachers hear students swear and many guys talk about sex to the girls or anything that involve with sex and they don't do anything about it.

It's not really a big deal and I'm not really crying about it because me and many others like me, just got used to it for all thses years.
But, I was just saying this, just to know if that happpens in your school too.
So does it? Please answer That's all
Bye N Have a nice day

My guess is that they are in on it and they get a cut of the profits!J/k Any how if you have a problem with whats going on then call the administration or the superintendant. If that doesnot work then go to the next level until you get what you want and feel safe as well. Big Grin

LOL at Jookly.

Anyways, I really don't know many teachers who would allow that to pass them by. But if you're absolutely sure, you saw what happened, and you heard everything, then I guess, you should consider changing schools. I mean, from the way you describe it, your school sounds like a drug zone, no offense or anything. I don't think its very healthy to be in an environment like that, people go to school, or at least, they're supposed to go to school to learn, not push drugs. And also, if there have been drug busts at your school, why isn't the administration not doing anything to ensure a drug-free school zone?

Yes, I did hear the whole conversation between a boy and the teacher. The teacher just didn't care enough to try to help. It was like he was trying to be kool or something! It was pretty bad.
Yes, I did see them with the pills and I know they were pills because I've bought pills from these people before. I just got away from taking drugs. Some people just don't seem to realize how stupid it is till they get into trouble like I did.
In the past week there were 2 different drug busts in my school. The first was a 16 year old boy. He had weed in his shoe. The second was a 17 year old boy. He had 3 oz. of weed, 2 pipes, and a huge knife in his car. (They searched his car) (During school they had police and dogs come in) Wink

I dont know of too many teachers who would allow something like that to go on during there class but there are always exceptions to the rule! I just have a couple of questions about the situation. Did you in fact see these students pass the pills out or was it just heard in the hallway discussions? They could have been sweet tarts, I made a mistake once and mistook someone eating candy for drugs thats why I ask that question. Did you hear the student teacher conversation all the way through? Maybe the teacher was making a point and wanted the student to feel comfortable so he said a joke. That is another possibility as well. It is hard to give you any real helpful information because your post is so vague, now dont get me wrong I understand what you wrote but specifics would be nice. They also help us figure out the best plan of action for problems that arise. My last question is this, are you sure the teachers see the pills being passed in class? Big Grin

i agree, they shouldnt play along with the students like that or let them pass pills around if they c the student because thats just saying that the teacher is re-enforcing drug use, and in a way saying its not bad. i think thats very wrong and thats not the way the teachers should handle it. it my school i think there is only one teacher like that but all the rest clearly show how against it they are

It isn't like the teacher was supplying the drugs, so why get upset?
I have friends who choose to use drugs, and while I personally think they're idiots for doing so, it is their choice because it is their body. As their friend, however, i believe that I have a responsibility to show them any information that I come across, and take care of them. I have taken one friend to the emergency dept. twice now. But I don't hate her, or get mad at her. I'm just there for her when she needs me. She's quit now (thank goodness) but I sincerely doubt that berating her when she slips up would do any good at all. All she needs is support.

Sounds like the teachers believe in freedom and are not authoritarians who impose their views forcefully on others, right on. The teacher isnt hurting you in any way, so dont worry about it.
