Well, I kind of get that.
We have a uniform at school and aren't allowed hoodies at all during school hours, but we all use our CD players and cell phones under the desks (heh) or during breaks in our classrooms. We aren't actually allowed to do that either, but everyone does.

"""gang symbols"""
___Yes seriously, it's a pretty trashy town.

___They also added the "no hoodies worn on the head" rule because students started using their cd-players and cell-phones secretively(which is also a no-no).

What's the big deal anyway? "Oh no, I can't wear a hat! I shall die!"
I mean really people. Roll Eyes

I thought you were never allowed hats in school. I thought it was just some rule that every school has without exception. Well, if they won't let you wear head bands, then I agree its a bit stupid. But who needs hats anyway? All they give you is hat hair!

Before the city transferred all the high school kids to the new high school, anyone could wear headgear. But now that they installed camaras, no one is allowed to wear hats any more; headbands and such are okay though, (for either sex). However, the only reason they made this rule was because the cameras wouldn't beable to see our faces. (Sometimes, technology is just a [female dog]. Wink

In my school we're not allowed to wear any type of headgear..bandanas,hats,anything.It doesn't really bug me,but since I'm moving up to another school, high school,my friends and I are gonna break all the stupid rules at the school,we're tryin to get the whole grade in on it.

at my school head gear to be taken off is only a choice by a teacher. And if they do make the choice to take them off, it's for both sexs. But i do see where you are coming from, but it isn't really a major sexist issue such as, say, your stomach showing or other forms of the dress code in schools.

well, no one should have to take off "headgear", its a stupid rule, it not like wearing a bandana or hat during school is going to hurt or distract anyone.

Well their is a rule about head coverings at my school and I'm fine with that, but there needs to be no exceptions for a girl.

I haven't noticed any exceptions to rules at my school for girls. All children are treated with eaqual anal retentiveness.
