In a previouse poll I asked what the Wicca religion was. I did some research and found out on my own. While doing this I noticed a (or what seemed like) contraversy between Wiccas and Christians. Here are some of the websites I went to:

What do you think about this?

Wicca is not evil. I'm a Wicca beginner, but I know enough not to believe the bad things people say about Wicca. I'm pretty sure that Wicca is a lot about being in tune with nature. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.)

Wicca is a religion as is Christianity. People mistake it for devilry. Wicca has nothing to do with the devil. They believe the devil and Jesus are Christian made. Wiccans believe in dieties. Gods and Goddesses, and a Lord and Lady. Despite of what you think, Wiccans are not evil. As you may know, Christians blame the Devil for evil things that happen. A Wiccan believes that evil exists only if a person lets it. For every action, there is a complete reaction. So if you were to kill someone, that would bring evil about, as I'm sure you know. But if you do good things, good is brough about.

Well, after seeing that I was always entranced by the Wiccan religion.

Please don't believe that The Craft had anything to do whatsoever with Wicca. If you want to learn what Wicca is really about, you can Noisemail me, because I don't want anyone walking around thinking that that less than mediocre movie depicts anyone of the Wiccan faith.

Of course there's going to be controversy.

It's the monotheists versus the polytheists.

Do you remember that movie that came out a while back in the mid 90's??? It was called "The Craft". Well, after seeing that I was always entranced by the Wiccan religion. Even though I know its just a movie. But the thought that you could do a spell and change things....well, its a thought that every teenager would love to be able to do. I do not beleive in it nor have I ever....but you have to admit the thought of it is pretty cool. I am of the Methodist religion and I hold no controversy towards Wiccans. If anything, I admire them for believing in something so avidly. Smile
