Well, that is also your school. Only two general locations for fights in my school (of about 1000 kids anyways) and its because they want attention for fighting- the cafeteria and the hallways.

Adults have more rights, as, even as a minor, I believe they should. But I don't quite understand what you're trying to get at. Surveillance cameras in the workplace? Is that what you meant?
yeah, but kids don't have sex in an open hall way or pick a fight there usually. That stuff doesn't usually happen out in the open. The last fight happened in the gym or the guys bathroom depending.

Yeah, at my school, over $1,000 was stolen from kids' lockers in one week. They had no idea how the kid got into lockers, but they eventually caught him because some kid put his own video camera at the end of one of the halls.
Well, I wouldn't support the government putting cameras up in every city on every street to see what people are doing. But high school students and high school is different. For one, there are minors who dont have the same type of rights as adults. Secondly, if something of yours got stolen (which happens often in high school), you would want to have tape of it. Are you against surveillance in department stores. Last, drugs are a problem in schools and it should be dealt with.

I agree with yogore. You'll eventually not even notice them, as long as you are one of the kids that doesn't have to worry about them... They would make me feel more comfortable in the hallways.
In school, it is not society. You have to follow certain rules and survalence cameras are no problem in hall ways because they need to moniter what is going on. If someone were to be hurt, it's better that it was recorded.
