Do you think that parents should pressure us in to doing good in school?

Okay the things is I think that parents should support there kids in whatever they do. But the thing is if you were failing something because you didn't like the teacher and how they ran there class would you ask to have your class changed?

Well I have that problem. My school won't let me switch classes unless my parents come in and talk to them, But my dad said I should just try. I do try and IM still failing. I know the material the teacher makes me nerves. So i don't do so good.
I come home almost every day and I get yelled at or spoke down to for hours about how I should do my best at school because thats the only way that Im going to get in to a good college and get a good job. Well the thing is I'd rather play music for a living and IM working on it IM in a band. IM politiclly informed I read IM a very smart kind.. Average MY point IS parents should lay off and let us do what We wanna do.. School wise.. its a proven fact that school really dosen't do anything for us. Childern learn when they want to..

They can also be affected by the dumb****ery of the student...

I'm totally pressured into getting good grades and things like that! I never really get a fair say in my D on those report cards... parents don't know this but.... GRADES CAN BE AFFECTED BY TEACHERS STUPIDITY!!!!!!!
