I realize parents can be much worse. And that can last for a very long time; try all my life and i dread the next 3 years b/c my sis is going to college and she didnt get her freedom until she was 18 and even then my mom tried to restrict her. I have 3 years til I'm free and i know that as soon as my sis leaves i will be the center of my mom's attention and i will never be able to do anything. I may sound like I am whining about it but at this point I dont care I can't do anything else about it and i have no one to talk about it w/ b/c I'm not allowed to talk or see anyone!

your parents might be great, well good for you, but some of us have parents who dont let us do anything...i rarely leave this house b/c my mom doesnt let me visit my friends or go anywhere!! she doesnt approve of my friends and we fight quite frequently...wanna be in my shoes for a day? doubt it, but if you do let me know and we'll do some negotiations. k? now wanna talk about mental?

yes, PARENTS SUCK....actually my dad is cool but my mom and step-dad, another story. They don't let me do anything!!! lately i wanted to kill my mom...she grounded me from the internet, phone and 'certain TV stations' for as long as she feels like....she finally let me online for the 1st time in a week. I have never been grounded before so this sucked! and i cant watch my TV when she's not home b/c she put a 'child lock' on FUSE, MTV, VH1, all of them so I cant watch them!!!!!!! B!TCH!

No worries, mine do too. But, we get by with loud metal, talking with your true family (friends, AKA people who really care about you) and destroying stuff such as paper, pillows, ext. because your parents drive you insane.

Not all parents suck.... the way i see it, parents suck if they dont know how to integrate good moral values on their children thats why their kids turn into rebels, liberated young minds who think that they are always right. Parents should have the responsibility to instill proper and good values to their kids because they will be the ones who will represent the new generation.

Yeah so one day we love our parents and the next day we hate them. I guess it depends if they buy us the latest cell phones or not....nah jk lol.
sometimes their cool, but when they dont let you do something it pisses you off but maybe its for a good reason even though they say, "you'll understand when youre older"<or something similar to that. Maybe they went thru a bad experience in their teen years & are just trying to protect us.

fine. i'm sorry you don't have parents. i truly am no matter how insensitive i sound. but my parents make me mad sometimes. i love them to death but they still fustrate me. there are some kids WITH parents who get beat up on and almost killed. i'm not one of them thank god, but how do you think they feel?

my parents arent bad.i mean they have good intensions but they could stand to listen more without blowing up.my dad preaches about being responsible(i have a 3.667 GPA,am in drama club NHS,band,and i volenteer at a hospital,on top of that im almost an eagle scout)he made me get a jhob and i feel like im missing a childhood,but i cant get him to understand that.my mom just has poor morals so i usually end up telling her what shes doing is wrong.

I care about my parents more than I show but on the other hand, my brother is just plain stupid. i don't know if it's because he's young and at his puberty stage but he does not know how lucky he is. he treats my parents like crap by not doing anything in the house, literally, he watches tv and does the computer. he gets in nasty attitudes when things don't go his way. and he's got one trashy attitude towards MY parents. i wanna smack him and say "what the **** are you doing? you don't know how ******* lucky you are?" and it pisses me off when he has this direspect problems by cursing bluntly in front of them and my parents who don't have the native, quick ears for English don't hear it, but I do. i seriously wish he was never born. i mean it from the bottom of my heart. he's an ugly, "i'm so cool cuz i'm a teenager", "i can curse", piece of ****...god, why's he the one that's directly related to me by the same mother. i wish he dies...i really do...wow...getting outta hand...either way, i hate it how my parents get smashed by this piece of **** that lives in the house that my parents are paying for, the tv bill they pay for, the food on the table, the clothes that keep his ****ty *** warm, the damn computer he plays on 24/7, etc. My parents are who I respect forever, having been both immigrants from a foreign country, they keep our mouths full by working hard without the best education background. so, **** you, ______! I think parents are kind off like a message or sign from God to help me and other teenagers to do the right things. True, some parents don't do the right thing and then that's their fault. If your parents tried to rape you or almost got you shot, or into drugs, then yes your parents suck because they are not setting a good example for teens our age, but if your parents fuss a lot... well that's most kids and it's nothing to say they suck. they might be mad about something that happened or something to that extent. They probably love you very much

My parents are hilarious. Yeah they're really strict and overprotective, but I love them. They raised me up right. And my 3 sisters. All girls and no brothers. My mom is like my hero. Especially if she can go to college, work, and raise me and my 3 sisters. My parents are separated, but not divorced. My dad doesn't live with us. My parents never suck, even when they don't let me do they things that I want to. I'm thanful to have good, strict, christian parents like mine. They keep me in line, and help me do good things and not bad. Yeah I can date and junk, but I'm happy being single. I'll start dating again when I'm 18. Just one thing though, if the guy is a pervert (pardon my language), my parents can tell. That's how good my parents are. I thank God everyday for my parents.

my dad is kinda crazy, maybe its his scottish thing or something. but funny crazy. sometimes hes overprotective (i make out with a guy and he finds out the guy should hide). i get along real well with mom, we talk a lot. she's cool about stuff.
