i am soo tired of being attacked by ppl @ school just because i have different opinions.
all the people think they're soo differnt 4 likein punk rock and stuff but, they totally attack ME because my tastes/opinions are different. Some poeple (no names) that i know disrespect everything. whole races and cultures. They make fun of "ghetto ppl" "preps", gays, asians anyone different.
and then, when one person says one thing that offends them, they will be totally offended and just go crazy. it's like they can't take anytone that's different.

I can think of MANY groups who do this:

Many Blacks
Many Mexicans
Some Asians
Many, many Gays/lesbians (opposing opinions are just that - opinions - we're not "homophobic")
Some Christians
Politicians


I could list a few more, but you get the idea.

It's like if you have a differing viewpoint, you're either a bigot, racist, intolerant or homophobic.

That's what Political Correctness will do for you though.

When I was in high school, everyone who was anyone was into rap, hip hop, and R&B, so whenever I talked about my favorite rock singers, they looked at me as if I might as well have been an alien talking about her favorite kinds of music, or something. Also, the majority of people were either Asian or Latino, so, being as white as possible without being an albino didn't help either. Anyway...
All in all, junior high and high school are filled with people who are hyper-insecure, who can't stand the fact that there are people out there, somewhere, who think differently and act differently and like different things. Some of these people grow out of it and accept differences, and some of them become the type that like to rant about all "those freaks" out there (kind of like Rush Limbaugh, I guess). Such is the way of things... :P

Wouldnt that suck if we all were like the simpsons and everyone was yellow? Except for abu and his kin. I wonder what our racist remarks would be then?

although i have many many opinions, i tend to keep them 2 myself rather than broadcast them throughout the school. really, the biggest reason i'm attacked is because i listen to rap instead of punk rock. i know it's really a dumb reason and i probably shouldn't get worked up about it. but, it seems like, they think that liking rap is a HUGE offense to them. thank you for ur support btw!

I read a lot of posts like this and it is hard for me to understand what you mean.

When i was in school i never once got picked on (except once in 6th grade which was funny as ****) so i am confused as to what you mean by "attacked". Do they actually attack you? If someone could clear up this for me i would be most appreciative.
