For those of you who took it in March, what was your score? Was it higher or lower than your old SAT score added to the writing score?

The writing section sucked. I think it's unfair to ask for an essay in 25 minutes. Very few people write good first drafts.

I love the new writing section. That is going to increase my score a lot. I'm not worried about the math, either. Critical Reading, though, is going to be my big problem. I have a hard time focusing on the passages. I haven't taken the new or old SAT yet. My friends that have taken both say their scores stayed the same.

Mine was higher.

Old
Math 590
Verbal 550

New
Math 700
Critical Reading (Verbal) 630
Wiritng 570

I think it's hard to compare them though because I've had a whole year of school between December '03 and March '05. I think 10th grade prepared me much better to take them than 8th grade did last year.
