You seem happier there than I am at mine. I think I may transfer. Academically, I think I did okay, but I had a LOT of things to deal with that most Froshies don't.

Academically, I had a very good first semester of college. However, I am not in love with the place, but have decided against transferring.

Hehe...I can relate to both of you After living in the dorms for so long you would think you would be immune to just about everything. I contracted some weird stuff this year though And don't worry Youthvoice, I slacked off in one of my easiest classes this semester and that was the lowest grade I got out of all of them. Weird how that happens..

Last semester was my best. This semester however was not. I need to retake some classes. Don't feel sorry for me though, it was my fault.

Barely... But at least the people at the ER were nice.

*feels left out because classes of '07 and '08 have their own threads now and doesn't want to create a "university class of '09" thread because she doesn't know that there would be very many people posting there* How's the end of the semester treating y'all?

heh.. I know what you mean. I'm already starting to get stressed about registration again. I just found out when I get to register and unfortunately I have to wait till 3:30 in the afternoon on my day which is going to drive me nuts. I also found out that for a psych minor I have to take another stats class...very bad news. I might as well just major in it.

Had I transferred already I'd be two courses ahead.... Clark puts theirs up in November too I think, but the site for UNH says October, so that's what I expect. I mean, we're not all the way through "mid" October, so I guess I should shut up, but I'm a concrete-sequential person: I NEED a DATE.

Hey, whatever works .. I would love to graduate a year early. School has been driving me crazy this year. And I don't know about you guys, but my school doesn't put up their schedule till November...I hate trying to figure out schedules, it always stresses me out. They try to make it as difficult a process as they can.

UNHM doesn't have their course schedule up yet! It's freaking me out because the site says they'll have it up in the middle of October and it is... ARG! I want to know so I can start planning the Winter Term accordingly (so I don't have to worry about the one-week overlap from the Winter to Spring term and can plan summer...)

Mhmm...me too... Class schedules are up for next semester. I need to take Accounting II next semester before my book becomes obsolete and I need to buy a new one. It's a T/Th class though, so that means I'm definately taking 5 days of classes. I don't think I would mind that though, it would keep me from getting as bored as I am this semester. I'm thinking of adding Microeconomic Principles to my T/Th schedule too...keep the business stuff separate. Then I have absolutely no idea...I need to start in on my core requirements...I've got 2 religion, a literature, aesthetics (theatre, music, something like that...) and ethics...I think that's it...according to that though, I should just need to take one for each remaining semester... I want to take the next Spanish class, but it's not offered as an actual class. I would need to set up private instruction (covered by my regular tuition, thank goodness). So I'll have to talk to my professor to see how that works... Then there are two political science classes that I want to take...I may end up just taking 18 credit hours next semester so that I don't have to leave anything out...

No, it's my second. I'm going to be a junior next semester actually. I had kind of felt out of place last year but I thought it might be the first year jitters. This year I'm sure I just want to be home. Plus, I'll graduate sooner (by a year!) and work.

Hey, what's not legit about a 53 yr old college student? Sounds perfectly fine to me.. quote: In case people haven't been checking in on the "Other Stuff" type forums, I am transferring to UNH at Manchester or SNHU (much more likely UNHM) to be closer to home. Being close to home is kinda nice. But sometimes I feel like I need more distance. Is this your first year freedom?
