I was just wondering how many of the people on here have heard of or applied for the EMA? Its an education maintenance allowance that can really help you when you leave school and go to college. I think that its such a good idea that im helping to promote it.

By the way you can only get it in the UK.

Don't know if the US and other places ave something similar?

yeh i recieve EMA and i think it is very good however there is alot of debates about it because you only recieve it if your parents earn less than a certain amount a year. This amount is currently under review by UK youth parliament which i am a part of to hopefully raise the upper limit to allow more young people to access EMA.
