This has been bothering me for a while...
Whats with all the "groups" in schools??
At my old school in LA there were never any groups of like popular people or skaters or nerds. Then I moved to Georgia, and there are so many different groups and it seems like everyone HAS to be in ONE CERTAIN group. I have friends in a bunch of different groups tho. And sometimes all my different friends don't get along.
What do you guys think????

i have been to 7 different schools during my high school years, and there was never a school where everybody was together. it's the way it worked and always will unless somebody does something to change it. anyways, i have alot of friends and all of them are from different clicks, from the "asians" to the "nerds" and the "drummers" and the "prima donnas" and they dont know each other and i know putting all of them together in one room would be very awkward 'cause the only thing they all have in common is me. lol but as for me, if anyone were to classify me i'd be click-less. i guess i'm too busy being all over the place to just fit into one spot.

lol i'm with Wolfie for once. i have 2 friends, Romashu and my own sis. The only 2 people i have ever trusted and who seem to genuinely care. of course i have this whole group everyone thinks are my friends that follows me around. i really don't like most of them but that's ok. btw screw the cliques. who needs them? people have stereotyped me in every possible one and guess what? i don't really care!! the preps call me emo, the emos call me a prep, the jocks call me a nerd, the band kids prbly think i'm a skank but whatev.

I wasn't even in this argument! Anyways Brehon agrees with both of us on several points and there are points where I disagree with both of them. It's not like we're some kind of internet-alliance whose mission is to make you look dumb. (Conceited) -Besides, the fact that we disagree with most of the crackpots on the internet is kind of a compliment if you think about it. 80% of the people who post stuff online, not just those on this site, are complete idiots. -So I'll drop it here and just say thanks for the compliment. Back to the topic at handAt my school we had 'jocks', 'nerds', 'preps', 'goths', everything. But no one hung out with just one group and there were never any fights between groups or anything like that (excluding the 1 fight b/t the two opposing wannabe gangs- lmao) bunch of pussies!! And the preps were definitely not the 'popular' group. The popular kids were the class clowns and the smart kids. And at my school most of the 'nerds' were also 'jocks' and 'preps'. Several of the 'goths' were 'nerds'. Same with the stoners, they were in every group from prep to jock to drama to emo to skater and gangster. The Student Government had kids from EVERY group, including the redneck FFA kids. I really don't get the concept of cliques b/c I never had to experience them, but from what I've seen in the movies... I'm glad I didn't. haha

At my school there are cliques but most of us get along. i mean we've got the jocks preps and skaters tht get along with eachother. the band geeks, singers and drama nerds tht get along. the emos and goths, rednecks, and nerds in general. then theres people like me tht fit into a bunch of cliques but isnt always accepted, more commonly know as outsiders or underdogs of society.

my class was weird. we had the random people, the people into sports and the people who wore black. however everyone got along well with each other, so this whole 'clique' thing is unknown to me. mmm another pointless post.

If my personality clicks w/someone elses then I'll chill w/them, it's simple as that and I don't get why anyone needs to make it any harder. I've had at least a dozen people come up to me and ask "so are you punk? cheerleader? drama? semi-whatever?" idk, I've lost track. Truth is, I'm friends w/ppl from all those "groups" and I dont care what that makes the rest of my narrow-minded high school think because when push comes to shove, I have my own little "clique", "group", "posse", what have you...of awesome friends, and that's what matters
i am the same way. i dont get the point of them. its just hs.
