Why does this happen all the time in some states and not so often in others? I go to a High School in Iowa and we had a bomb threat the last day of school before winter break. What a nice way to start that off huh? Well the last time we had a bomb threat at our school before that was three years ago, I wasn't there when it happened then, but I was here for this one. It was so scary, and I know some are thinking oh it happens all the time here so I don't know what your so worried about. But you see it doesn't here. Plus even if it does happen all the time there how do you know if some day it will be for real? Some were crying when this happened. I wasn't though I was hyper for some odd reason. So just think about what I said and reply back, if possible. Good luck to you all and thanks for reading what I have written. Roll Eyes

Most of the time it isn't really a threat. The person who does this is normally a guy who want to prove something to his buddies so he scares an entire school.

You especially have to watch out for Maryland. There's something in the water here, I just know it.

You know those small states with a lot of suburbs? The children are all insane in those states.

My school had 3 this year. 2 of the bombs were in the bathrooms and 1 in a classroom.

I used to go to a school that had that sort of occurances a bit more than an average school. It was about bombs only twice, mostly intruder alerts. I wasn't scared or worried. I kept doing my work, and after a while, when people even some teachers start to freak out, I help out by staying calm.

My new school this has never happened so far, and honestly, I don't care. What I'm about to write is awful to say, but it's true: if you die you die, ya know? Maybe there's something wrong with me for taking such things so calmly, but they don't shake up my world as much. One thing I try to do is think about why anyone would need to blow up the school before the break, for example. No reason that I know of, so it's probably a false alert.

Plus, schools are a pretty safe place to be. As long as you're in a classroom like you need to be, you're better off.

I'm glad everything worked out to the good end. People also have the habit of thinking "I could've been dead," that sort of stuff. Don't think like that. You COULD'VE, but you DIDN'T. Hope you won't have to go through anything like that again.
