Does pig latin actually count? That brings my list to a total of four! I know a wee bit of Latin, but it's a dead language anyway.

I've heard that a lot of companies hire people who can translate between English and ASL.

cheesegratingshed: Did you visit the Mercator center in Belgrade??? i heard it's quite popular there! as for now that we're in the EU, nothing has changed only we'll have to pay more in the eu budget than we'll get out! we never needed visas! we dont need them even for the US, we can almost come everywhere where we want without a visa! and even our ID's are good for about 10 countries or more!

iceland: no i don't speak esperanto , but i know there's a club in Ljubljana 4 all those that speak it! so i was quite interested in that!

sudha: i love learning languages so even starting to learn them is great for me! and i guess something's wrong wit your mailbox!as all the emails that i send to you are returned back to me!

A little bit of French (I'm in French I), a little bit more Spanish (Which is what you get if you live in Texas), and I'm quite fluent in English, I must say.

I speak English fluently, though I'm taking Japanese at Amherst College and ASL from a teacher in my town.

cheesegratingshed: I advise you to practice your language instead of forgetting it. Read books in your language, etc. There are way too many people already learning English, and way too many giving up speaking their native languages for English.

Maltja: I know some Esperanto! It's such an awesome language, I wanna learn it. Do you actually know it? How did you come to learn it?

Also, anyone wanna speak French, I know it pretty well, and love practicing it, let me know if you wanna chat in french, I'd be up for it any time.

ASL?

Matija, I just got back from Belgrade! Very cool place. We even had chestnut cream in front of the national museum. It was so nice. I really want to go to Slovenia! I sounds so nice.

OH! I forgot! You just joined the EU on Saturday didn't you. Is life any different yet? Probably not, but now you can travel to England and France and Germany and other places without a visa! Yay! The serbian passport is good for nothing at the moment, but hopefully soon!

OK, g2g now.

Bi.

I know English, Spanish, and quite a bit of ASL. I think it would be nifty to speak French, too.

I'm fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and French. I know Latin too but not conversational latin since it's a dead language.

I remember I had a geeky goal when I was 8 years old - to learn 20 languages by the time I turned 20. Not happening. Smile
