I believe matija because he's from another country. Which is stereotypical, I know, but people from other countries speak multiple languages more often than americans do so it's easier to believe him.

No, my only Russian knowledge was the one I'd heard from my CDs (I listen to world music), and foreign films.

i speak german (my third year) and i'm going over there in the summer and staying with a host family. it's not for school credit though.

Yes I did. I went on the net www.studyaborad.com and found a lot of links of foreign exchange companies, and signed up for one. Then, they sent the pre-aplication, I filled it out. THen I got the application, filled it out. I had selected my first country choice to be Russia (second Germany and third the UK), and I had no trouble getting in because, frankly, not a lot of kids wanted to come to Russia.

Yeah... it's my life.... I keep in touch with my family and my friends through it...and I don't have to go to school to use a computer! And I can log on even if its 5 am here.
