in my opinion french is the most useful lang, followed by english,arabic,german,chinese,spanish,portugese ,russianand japanese.

I think the most practical language is English. All societies can speak English. Then there's Spanish (considering 3/4 of the American continent speaks Spanish and some islands in the Caribbean)... and maybe Arabic next... I dunno.

italian is also useless! only italians speak it (eventho it's also the offincial lang in some parts of SI and Ch)

Italian is a great language, it sounds so nice, I wish I knew it. I'm Italian so I should know it.

I'm dropping my Adv. Latin 3 class. Darn, I wish I had taken Italian or Spanish instead because Latin is USELESS in the business world (I want to major in international business).

I speak mosyly English. I'm in Spanish I at school but have take Spanish 3 times in my life. 2 out of the 3 times it was a 9 weeks course and in 7th grade it was all year. I want to learn Italian and Hindu.
