quote: "plus size" models who are actually just gorgeous women with curves
i dont think they should even be considered plus sized ! But the media all those music videos and all that sets an image for everyone. there should be people of all shapes and sizes and not be considered plus sized when they have more then just bones and actually have some skin.

quote: why is the plus size line only available online and select stores?)
Exactly what i say! i Dont consider myself skinny nor fat. i consider myself curvy and when i see that its just like uhmm.. okay since when is it a bad thing to not be looking like a toothpick.

Totally agreed! This kind of attitude really bothers me. The fact that "plus-size" models are anyone who is above a size 0 or 2 is just ridiculous. There was a cool segment on the Ellen show the other day with the editor of Glamour magazine, talking about this great photo spread they did with "plus size" models who are actually just gorgeous women with curves. She said they're committing to showing more diversity in body types, so I hope that's true. Check it out: http://jezebel.com/5372115/gla...to-unveiled-on-ellen

AGREED. I respect Forever21 coming out with a line targeted to "larger" females, but in a way its almost degrading (why aren't the "regular" clothes just made in bigger sizes, and why is the plus size line only available online and select stores?) I don't get where having curves became a bad thing- Marilyn Monroe was a size 12!
