why do people get so upset at music. EVERYDAY it's i h8 system of a down, kylie sucks, eminem's evil. you guys have to realize not all music is meant to be heard in the same way...

u ever seen that episode of the simpsons where some dude is raggin on a musician and Lisa's all "You have to listen to the note's she's not playing" Joke or not, that's tru.

Linkin Park and SOAD get similar greif, ppl say one or the other isn't the right "kind of rock". Dude, all kinds of rock are right, just for different people, if you want call it something different, it's still music.

Brittney Spears and Kylie Minogue also get similar put downs. Now, personally i don't like Brittney, but i'm telling you she is a musician in a different way. Both ladies are said to have no talent, well then why are they up there shaking their thing and not you. They know how to exploit themselves and are talented at being stars at least. (any1 else notice how kylie can turn an xtremely simple, weird dance into a visual delieght with her unique back up dancers, there's your talent! )

AS FOR EMINEM!... he is a very good rapper. he is doing what music is all about by expressing himself and venting. Listen to the words to his songs. He says something like, he's the worst thing to come along sense Elvis Prestley. Yes... that elvis, shaking his hips so... how OUTRAGEOUS!

i think everyone has different music views...most people do...the punkers all stick to punk rock metal heads like hard rock and the goths like goth rock....now notice how all of those views of music have the word rock in them....

It's likes and dislikes. Many people have many different tastes and interpret things differently.

so what DO you listen to locustus? i listen to kylie minogue, i like her music, i think it's great dance music, no one pushed it on me. i really just stumbled upon it. i listen to other things, indie rock, underground stuff, ya know, i listen to whatever strikes my fancy.

u listen to whatever u want. it's all kosher, i just think people should open their minds a little more and stop attacking music... like u did, you don't have to listen to it, or like it, but... whatever...
