okay I'm repeating myself here but I'll say it again:
How can R. Kelly's "confessions" be up for so many award nominations and be so popular, especially with women? The song I have heard and watched on MTV talks about how he has gotten his mistress pregnant but he hopes his girlfriend doesn't get mad b/c he is man enough to tell her about it. This from the same dude that likes to defecate on women and young girls... scary.
Alot of the rap songs also glorify not only men that "pimp" and "love em and leave em" or "no love for hoes" but now we have also moved on to men giving vivid descriptions of how cool it is for a girl to be out for the money, cheating on her man with a "thug" because she just likes the meaningless sex and the expensive gifts. I mean honestly if you listen to the lyrics they are very very sad, but you put them over a nice beat and BOOM! it's the hottest thing in the club and on the radio for 2 months. Not only that, many girls are actually dressing like the chicks from the rap videos. Give me some good hip-hop with no lyrics any day.

If parents were so worried about what their kids listened to then they would monitor it a bit more. Just because you look up to someone doesn't mean that you have to do everything that they do. You should know whats right and whats wrong. Granted the celebrities (not just rappers) should watch what they say or do sometimes but that should also mean that the media should give them space and some breathing air . We wouldn't know half of the bad thing that celebrities do wrong if it weren't for the media constantly hounding them. Im not saying that I agree with the celebrities but they are entitled ro privacy as well. I may have got a little off yopic here but it all adds up. For the music industry they already have edited music that plays what else are they suppose to do, stop it completely? No. I think that parents should really watch there kids carefully they are so worried about it.

Oh, rap should NOT talk about love Roll Eyes

I don't let media influence me, if I want to do something, i'll decide on it myself.
