I don't think that rap music is making black people look bad. You don't see one person and assume that all are bad. That's racism and it's wrong. If people seriously hear rap and think " oh blacks are all wrong now" then they are seriously messed up. You can't judge a group of people one a few peoples actions.

First of all I don't look up to these rap stars. Yes, I agree that it has gotten out of hand and so do alot of people in the BLACK community. As a teen you have a choice in life: Follow the right path or do what they say in the music. Rap music is sending out the wrong message about the Black community as a whole. We are not prostitutes and drug users, we are people who work for a living and try to do right and take care of our families like other descent people. Rap music is about pleasure, struggle, and a temporary escape from reality.Rap artist aren't the only ones that talk about sex, money, ect, but they are the only ones that talk about it in abundance. And "gonnabeheard" if you chose to let those negative thoughts influence you, think about me, I've grown up listening to rap all my life and I am a highly successful person who has never had sex, never did drugs, never even got in a fight before. I am an A- student who is published in books of poetry. I realize that some people may not have the will to overcome the message, but not all are lost, it'll take them a little while to come to their senses.
Not all rap music is bad, but it's her right to think that it is. It doesn't mean that rap should come to an end. And no letzbould, just because you say your right, doesn't absolutely mean that you are. Lets try to be a bit nicer here.
