I'm not sure if you can really compare MySpace with LiveJournal. I mean, MySpace is a social networking site with a blog feature, while LJ is a blogging site with a social network feature. That's why LJ is a bit more minimal. It's main point isn't social networking, as it is with MySpace.

Myspace is a piece of sh!t compared to Livejournal.

Myspace: disorganized, full of spam bots and advertising, crappy groups, fake immature people.
Livejournal: simple layout, very interesting groups, actually has meaning.

It's not just adults that see MySpace in such a negative light. My friends tease me for having one. They see it as a place for our peers to whore themselves out, basically. I use it as a place to keep in touch with busy, faraway friends and to find new music.
In some respects, it's done huge things for the music scene, which I appreciate greatly.

Myspace is the greatest thing ever! I agree with those that have said so, it so is an awesome way to keep in touch with friends. And the "warning" about myspace is all bull. Seriously, if you just make sure not to be a retard and post stupid stuff of like where you live then you should be fine. If you use common sense then there would of been no "warning" about myspace. Gosh I love it though. I hope I don't have to ever delete it because it all got to my parents head.

Myspace is fun i only got on cause just about everyone at my school was on. Yay this is my 200th post!!!

myspace is sweet it is soo much easier to stay close with frioends when you move.
