He had a girlfriend, but then that was it. And the fact that he was willing to put not only himself, but her too, at risk just seems insane. What I never quite understood, and this is why I think he was nuts, is if he knew grizzly bears so well, why didn't he realize that he was running such a major risk? Because they're wild animals, they can always react in a surprising way. Or even worse, maybe he realized and he didn't care. I don't know. It's so freaking disturbing... I can't imagine being ripped apart by a grizzly bear. Jesus. It makes me sick just to think of it. So fucking sad.

He was married so obviously he can connect and relate to them, he just had a better, more natural understanding of our surroundings

Haven't seen the others, but Grizzly Man...oh my god. That was very disturbing. It was sort of incredible too...but so fucking sad. When I first watched it I could not get it out of my head for days. The guy was obviously... different(because of lack of a better word). I don't know. It was just so strange though...he seemed like completely separate from other human beings in a sense, like he couldn't relate to them or something maybe, I don't really know what to make of him.

Wow my taste in movies must be way off because I didn't like it at all...and you're like the 20th person I've heard say they loved it. I didn't exactly hate the movie, but I thought it was wayyyyyyyy too long...at the end I almost wanted to get up and leave because it felt like it never ended and just went on and on and on. That always ruins movies for me. You take a perfectly good movie, but then strech it out too much, it just ruins it. I still think the first one was the best of the three, but then again, I saw it a long time ago so who knows. And the second one...it sucked. Recent movies I've seen: -Snakes on a plane(I think that's the name) -Grizzly Man(traumatic) -The Laramie Project -Little Miss Sunshine can't think of more at the moment.

Ok, well the last movie I saw was Pirates of the Caribbean 3, what did everyone think of that one? I went in with pretty low expectations since the second one had nothing on the first, but I really enjoyed it. In fact, I loved it so much that I forgave Disney for all its previous sequel-making sins... until I heard talk about a fourth. Then I quickly withdrew my forgiveness. But still, great movie. Anyone else see it?
