Payying to see him doesn't make anyone a robot fan. you have to pay to see any comedian. And 17$ is a lot for a college performance. I paid 5 for sugarcult. He has plenty of talent or else he wouldn't have been asked to audition for SNL back in the day or go on to host it. I'm a fan of Dane Cook, Ellen Degeneres, Sarah Silverman, and Kathy Griffen. Jerry Seinfeld, George Carlin, Jim Gaffigan, Carlos Mencia, and Lewis Black are a few of my favorite comedians of the stand-up variety. Lewis Black especially. I saw him in Vegas and could hardly breathe, literally. quote: Originally posted by Holliewood: I'm sorry, I'm sure he says some funny shit, but everytime Comedy Central shows commercials for that guy I hear something about a "white girl", a "latina girl", or a "black girl", or some lady's eggs are too old. Lol, just not my thing.
Those Comedy Central ads don't do Carlos justice. But in defense of the anti-Mencia crowd, most of his sketch comedy is pretty dumb. As for Dane Cook...I don't know if he's brainwashing anyone, but IMHO he sure is overrated. As for comedic actors/writers: John Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Dave Barry, Jim Carrey, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, everyone who wrote for The Simpsons before season 11... And I'm sure I'm missing about 80.

Anyone that thinks Dane Cook is funny should have there head examined. This guy is a tool. He brainwashed college kids through his web site to believe that he was the MAN. Which is total bull. This guy has a huge data base of robot fans that will pay to see him , and they only pay $17 to see him , if you don't believe me check out any college he has ever played at, but he has absolutely zero talent. The last time I was in New York I hung out at the "New York Comedy Club" and saw a comedian named "Robert Bella" , a cross between Steve Martin and Rodney Dangerfield , the funniest comic I have seen in years !!!! You want to laugh , see this guy , believe me you will thank me for the rest of your life. Make sure you call to see if he is performing , that way you don't go there just to see the average comedians.

Mel Brooks is Hilarious and I love every movie of his that I've seen. He's a comic genius I mean who else whould have thought to make a show tune out of the spanish inquistion? The Inquisition, whata show, the inqustion, here we go, we're on a mission to convert the jews, jew-jew-jew-jew-jew,

ooooh Monty Python! I loove them, especially Life of Brian. Ingenius. It's weird, the first time I saw Holy Grail I hated it and the second time I saw it, it was like a completely different movie. quote: Brian: I'm not the Messiah! Will you please listen? I am not the Messiah, do you understand? Honest!
Girl: Only the true Messiah denies His divinity!
Brian: What? Well, what sort of chance does that give me? All right, I AM the Messiah!
Followers: He is! He is the Messiah!
Brian: Now, fuck off!
Arthur: How shall we fuck off, O Lord?

Besides thinking he's an idiot for not coming back for another season, I love Chappelle. It just sucks that everyone had to overkill the lil Jon skits.
