Don’t make sex tapes

Anyone ever think to themselves how shows can market themselves by providing nothing but “dirt” on celebrities. Again one has to ask how starved they are for attention and how starved as a people we are for entertainment. Millions of Americans will regularly tune in to ET or some other celebrity watch show. It has gotten to the point where there are websites completely dedicated to the tracking of celebrity sightings. I almost feel dirty for even writing about this in the first place, but it must be said.

For Brittany and Paris, DON’T MAKE SEX TAPES!!! It’s quite amazing that after all the celebrities that have had an encounter involving a video camera that any of them still do it. Do these people like this kind of stuff floating around? Do they crave attention that much? Just when is this nonsense going to end?

But at any rate, the much-publicized TomKat wedding, the breakups of multiple Hollywood couples and discussions of prenuptial agreements and the like I’m seriously ready to puke. Furthermore it has spilled over into the network news and cable news, and it was even being reported on Fox, hell they went a step farther and did a whole segment on it. I couldn’t believe my eyes when they brought on an expert to talk about prenuptial agreements.

Excuse me I will be busy praying to the porcelain god whose name is Ralph.

I dont follow much of the celebrity gossip. I find no entertainment in any of it. It is really hard for me to understand why people go crazy over celebritys they are just people.

I might be kinda off topic here, but the celebrities who are followed and say they hate it are for the most part hypocrites. They look for the attention so there next movie/song/music video is popular. And the more people who watch the shows following the celebrities the more shows they're going to make, it's a vicious circle.

Alright I totally have to agree with you there Hydrok. It's the most retarded thing ever. I mean don't people have lives?? I mean obvously not if they are so obssessed with these watching the lives of other people, let alone recording it. And honestly I have no idea what is going through their mind with the whole Sex-tape thing, it's a bit retarded to me. If you KNOW that possibly a million people would DIE to have that tape because it's worth possibly millions of dollars AND it's revealing personal moments that you don't want to share. Uh, wouldn't you think the smart thing would be to uh. say. uh. MAYBE thats not a good idea?
