I see a lot of people practically worshipping celebrities. Idol worship is common in today's society; but why? It doesn't make sense to me, especially those crazed fans who think they have a chance with some hot guy or girl. And most of the celebrities don't care either; they soak it up like life-force. So I want opinions, why do you think we focus so much of our lives on these wanna-be perfect people?

People worship celebrities because they think that they are awesome and that there is no one else like them. They think the celebrites are untouchable, like gods. But what they don't realize is celebrities are people just like everyone else. And the more you worship them the richer and the more "untouchable" they get. We make them and we can break them.
