Corporations are getting away with alot of crap these days. Have you noticed that the ads for cars are getting worse? It's as if they are trying to sex up a car to make it seem like some magazine model. They are making the idea of a new car that's way to expensive seem like the must have or you won't be cool, and you won't be accepted into society. It's just a car stupid! Is what I'd love to say!
The Lay's Potato chip company is also making me mad. There's this one ad where this kid is sitting in a portriat studio and the guy trying to take his picture is working really hard to get the kid to smile, when the kid's parents open up a bag of lay's cheddar and sour cream chips the kid yells "cheese" and smiles really big. I have to wonder about eating disorders in children. It seems that they are attached to the media. I mean, for one, we feed kids the images of things that are bad for them like soda, candy, cookies, chips, double and triple meat patties on a hamburger, a bucket of chicken wings, and everything else that's unhealty. Then we wonder why in the heck the kid is suddenly 400 pounds?! THen we feed images to kids that oh well jeez you need to look like a toothpick but yet eat all this junk over here on these other commercials! It makes me mad!
Wal-mart, and Toys R Us, two huge corporations that buy out all these smaller businesses and then whack down forests of trees cover the land with concrete and their sweat shop clothing, their child laboured toys and then sell them for extreme prices. Consumerism is the worst incurable disease I've ever seen!
I mean, I'm sorry, corporations even gave the bush campaign over 20 million for his campaign. Corporations! I thought that politics was about the people not which corporations can buy out the most space in the white house!
It makes me mad to see that most of the staff in the white house were bought by corporations. I think America's new slogan should be:
"Welcome to America Inc.!"
