I read the flap of the new Harry Potter book (my mom works at a library). Anyway, from the flap it appears that the Half Blood Prince is the new Defense against the Dark Arts teacher. At least the prince works at Harry's school. I can't wait to read the book.

My parents are leaving to go out of town in just a couple hours, and I am trying to convince them that I should be allowed to drive to the mall (MAYBE five minutes from my house) to go to the release party at the book store (where I have my book that's been reserved since February...). My mom said she'd have to talk to my dad about it...sigh. I really do not want to wait until 10:00 tomorrow morning when the store reopens... My mom does want me to deliver a copy of the book to one of her patients in a nursing home tomorrow, which means I definately will have a car this weekend... Cross your fingers for me!!!

8 hours! And remember to look in the Literature section after you're done. I am so freaking excited. Hi, Gemini. I haven't met you before but I've seen your old posts. I'm new, obviously.

Hi, gem. I thought I was hallucinating when I saw that you'd posted.
Y'know, I don't know why I bother with the countdown, as I won't be getting my book at midnight. But for those that do, it's thirteen hours.

No, Worth. Rowling said it herself! jk. Can you guys belive this! 14 hours and ten minutes! I sound like I'm on something. Oh well, I can assure you I'm not. New HP books usually make me sound like I'm on a caffiene high.

Do you know how glorious it is to see "1 Day" on the Mugglenet countdown? Of course, it'll be even better when it gets to just hours.
Can't wait!
Green, make sure you put a spoiler warning in that thread! We don't want all those people who will eventually read it (but not right away) to have it ruined for them.
So soon!

DO NOT ENTER UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED THE BOOK OR YOU WILL FIND SPOILERS. HAPPY READING EVERYONE! (Wow, my first post in all caps. Shame, shame on me!)

Last night I dreamed about braces and woke up with "Holiday" stuck in my head. That has nothing to do with HP. Though, I was reading a book on the Bush Administration before bed, so that could explain "Holiday." 2 days, twelve hours! And my computer background is Ron & Hermione! I'm officially a shipper!

Idiot Canadians! Mwahahahaha. No just kidding. That was mean, rude, and disrespectful. Somehow I let politics creep in everywhere. *sigh* Anyway, intersting dream. Its sad how we always dream about HP and other fantasy related books. Ah, well. . . 'Tis fate.

Ha! I read about that through Mugglenet. How does something like that happen?
Heh. I had another dream last night which had characters from The Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter. I remember the Meier and Frank building catching on fire. That's about it.
So soon!
EDIT: I was listening to the radio and heard them talking to the girl who plays Violet in the new Willy Wonka movie. She said she couldn't wait for the Harry Potter book. She also said kids today play too many computer games and don't use their brains. She sounds like a smart little girl.

I think I will hit him. But I couldn't bring myself to do that. He's clumsy enough already. At band festival, he was walking backwards and tripped over a baritone case and broke his arm. I'm not sure about Hagrid. I think it'll be either someone new, or someone more around Harry's age. But of course, we only have 3and a half days to speculate. YES!!! I fell asleep at 2:30 last night reading Artemis Fowl and then proceeded to have a dream about dragons. Totally unconnected. This was rather funny. Check This Out.
