Exactly. That was the huge twist in the fic I was reading...he was the spy within Hogwarts for Voldemort. No one would suspect him, no one would flinch if he raised his wand at them, etc.

But I LOVE Dumbledore and I really hope that doesn't happen...I don't think Jo would be that cruel.

Ahhh. . . Like that he's corrupt? And then the whole wizarding world might fall to pieces? If you can't count on old Dumbledore, who can you count on? All the weight falls on him. One wrong move and -kchk!- everyone dies.

Thanks for the info. I figured something like that would happen.

I'm big on Ron/Hermione (that's kind of a "duh") and...sorry, but I like Harry and Luna together. I just don't see Ginny in that picture. Luna was one of my favorite characters from OotP.

But I hate Cho. She's bad. Baaad, I say.

Oh, and I also trust Snape nearly as much as Dumbledore and I think Draco is going to be good in the end.

And after reading a new edition to a novelengh fan fic I've been keeping up with, I have suspicions about Dumbledore that I hope are completely wrong.

I'd love to hear your Dean and Seamus HBP theories and your shipper theories. Wasn't the description of a random new character? I personally think its the new DADA teacher.

Spatula: Your site is awesome! I just posted on it, and it is very cool. Finally a site with just one section to rave on about the movies in. *phew* Beautiful. *applauds Spatula*

Actually, the description is not neccesarily of the HBP, just of someone.

I think that the HBP is either Dean Thomas or Seamus Finnigan. I'll explain in great length if anyone actually wants to hear.

Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Luna/Colin is soooooooooo the way it's going. Smile

I saw the trailer for # 4, and i was a little disappointed that they are using so much computer animiation. The Merpeople look fake, and i think they would appear (also the dragons) more scary if they used different techniques. Alfonso put cloth in water to get the shot of the Dementors. They looked freaky! Harry isnt the prince, that i know for sure. i've seen a discription of him, and it says "HP AND the Halfblood Prince." I hope that when Harry gets knocked out or something, it should show him passing out. Not like in the third movie where it blacks out. I wanted to see him hit the ground at the quidditch match! That's action!

Possible, very possible guys. I personally think Ron and Hermione will end up together. They're both in denial. Harry's too confusing to guess on, but Ginny/Harry is possible. I sense a shipping debate coming on. Run, duck for cover!!! lol

Spatula: I loved the Silmirillion! It took me a long timme to read because I didn't have a time when I could just sit down without intreruption and read, but it was awesome. So, I'm officially done with the Silmirillion. . . But I still have to read the stuff at the end about Numenor and the Rings of Power and the Third Age. I think I'll go check out your site now.

Question that I can't seem to find on HP fan sites:

The books often say that Harry is half-blood.

But both his parents went to Hogwarts and graduated and his mom was a witch and his dad was wizard...so wouldn't that make him a pure-blood?

I'm pretty up-to-date with everything else, being an avid reader of Mugglenet, but this was just recently brought to my attention.

I won't be getting my copy for some time, guys. My dad has a festival the 16th and I can't drive after nine. So even if I wanted to go at midnight by myself and just work the festival half asleep, I wouldn't be able to. I'll be getting mine as soon as I can find one on the B&N shelves. Frown Frown Frown

Pity me.

There are plenty of book-basd LOTR sites out there. Believe me- I know! You liked the HP movies?! PoA was by far the best. Christopher Columbus ruined them, but Alfonso definately aged them too quickly. Who's the director for GoF? I'm not quite as obsessed with the movies, so I wouldn't know. Hubabaloo, do you have a name on mugglenet.com? I have a name on the CoS message boards, but I haven't used it.

God, I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do as a matter of fact. If you want, NOISEmail me, and I'll tell you want it is.

Christopher Columbus did a FANTASTIC job I think. Alfonso Cuaron just went off on his own tangent, I thought.

Mike Newell is the director for GoF. I haven't seen anything by him, so I don't know. He's done some things in Britain apparently, but nothing I've seen. But I've seen quite a few screen shots and I'm liking what I'm seeing...keeping my fingers crossed. But then again, he's going to have to make up for Cuaron's blunders, because he's got to get "Padfoot, Wormtail, Moony and Prongs" in there, otherwise, it's just going to be messed up. Especially the Penseive scene in OotP.

I run my own little forum, but most fansites and forums are really focused on the movies.

What's the address of your forum? I'd love to stop by. Hey, I'm off topic too. Cheers for me! I finally finished reading the Silmirillion!

JULY 16!!!!

I'm getting more and more excited! I can hardly wait! I ordered my copy from Amazon too, Katalina.

I agree with all you who are saying that Tolkien is your "true love". I love Harry Potter but Lord of the Rings is just something else. I haven't found that many book-based sites. I run my own little forum, but most fansites and forums are really focused on the movies.

Sorry for going off-topic. I can't wait for July 16th!

You just had to bring up Harry Potter, didn't you? Wink

I'm obsessed, in fact, on two other of the screens are HP fansites. I'm crazy about Harry Potter...seriously. I don't like Sirius though. I have never liked him...even before OotP (oh, I'm not on an Harry Potter fansite. On Harry Potter fansites, OotP means "Order of the Phoenix").

My favorite is the 3rd. I'm a Mormon, and a very active one, but I still read it, and I know quite a few other Mormons who love it...one of whom is a Mormon Bishop. Wink

I'm waiting so [im]patiently for the sixth book. I'm serious, I've written fanfiction, I discuss the HP mysteries...I'm obsessed.

I just bought my book on Amazon.com. They will send it to you early so you get it on the 16th. I'm getting back from Mexico that day, so I can't go midnight, so this is the next best thing.
