is anyone besides me a huge fan of the series? if you share my enthusiasm, then who is your favorite character & why? what was your opinion on both movies?

MK Armageddon just came out. its supposed to have literally every character that has ever been in the series in it. im so getting a copy.

dude, i so totaly got to play 1 & 2 earlier today on the "Midway Classics Collection". i still rule!

Love the games. haven't played them in such a long time though.

First movie was awesome, second one was not so good, they changed a lot of actors...

And my favorite has always been sub zero. Though in the last game i played I played most often as Noob Saibot

& dont forget his Deadly Aliance fatality where he rips his oponents skeleton out of their body making them turn into a bag of skin & muscle. my main man is still Scorpian though, i love the cockiness when ever he uses his harpoon move. "GET OVER HERE!!!!" "COME HERE!!!" "GET BACK HERE!!!!"

He needs a rocked out version song "ice, ice baby" for his theme you know one that isn't sung by vanilla ice and didn't steal it's music from Queen

I love his fatalities beyond a doubt, freeze'em then beat them in to small pieces

I used to love Mortal Kombat. Now I hate it because of the spelling... But I still like the music...

awesome! another Mortal Kombat fan! my fav character has always been Scorpian. ive been mainly playing Deadly Aliance lately. i thought that the movies were cool, yet sucked at the same time.

Oh my god. I frickin loved Mortal Kombat. And by that I mean the games, I like fighting games in general, but that was my first real fighting game, for Sega, hell yes!

I liked Katana a lot...she had a spinning fan move that froze your opponent in midair, it was annoying as hell and I loved it. I liked Cyrax a lot...he could just jump around and drop tiny grenades everywhere, and he made cool sounds. Sindel's screaming moves were pretty damn cool too. Ohhh, Sonya, Sonya was my favorite though.

As far as the movies go...they were ok. I think I only saw the first one. I remember the chicks fought really lame though, which is not how they're supposed to be. Sonya, for example, is supposed to kick ass.
