it is big news that arnold schwartzanegar(icant spell his last name) is running for the office of governor in the state of california. Many people know him as the terminator and an ever successful action movie star. DO you think he should run for governor and if he wins what will that say about our country? Are we infatuated with our movie stars and their wealth?

since he said that he is not gonna let imigrants kids get into school,he automatically lost, because 75% of the kids in USA are imigrants, or maybe there parents are, so if u mess with imigrants in this country u mess with everybody, as far as i'm concerne this country wouldn't be USA ( The power ) without imigrants, cause were coming here since ever. So if arnold mess with us, he better back up, or step out of the candidate thingy... OK.

running sure is getting him lots more publicity though. i won't be surprised if he wins. word is he's supposed to be more favored by voters than bush was.

I can't believe he's running.... He ony wants to run to get more noticed... He sounds a little "to good to be true"... He said he also want to change Sacromento, What about Fresno,Clovis,Visallia,Chowchilla,Merced,Hanford,
L.A., Pismo Beach, Grover Beach, San Deigo,Stockton,Palm Springs,ect. What about all these other cities that need help & the money to?
He's going to win because he's famouse & everyone's going to suck it all up... I think he'll ruin CA but that's just my opinion. What about having a women in office? That's a new idea!

The only reason Arnold would win for Govenor in my ever-so-super state is because he's already famous. I'd rather see a Green party candidate win (I don't know who's running in the Green party) but that's just because it would be nice to see a liberal win...hopefully whoever wins will be more competant than Gray Davis. (I actually don't really give a crap about the elections, I just had to throw in my two cents).

I can't believe Gary Coleman is running, too.

I guess that politics is just as screwed up as Hollywood now..

anyone catch arnolds slip up in one of his speeches? it was about education he said something along the lines of " and i never want see children with books" or something like that it was really funny but yeah...the lead singer from an old punk rock band called TSOL is running for govenor of california too, personally i think gallagher should win, he may smash watermelons but he knows what he's talking about, here's a history lesson too, jello biafra (ex-lead singer for the dead kennedys) ran for goveror of california and made a complete mokary of the system, it was great, he won a substantial amount of votes too, "JELLO FOR PRESIDENT!"

It's a face off between the Terminator, Gallagher (yes, the guy who smashes the watermelons), and Gary Coleman. Is that some ****ed up **** or what?

i thinks its great... as my dad says "they should change the law so arnold can become the president." hes smart, hes republican, and hes for the people. arnold knows whats going on and he seems to be well fit for the position.

I love the idea that the "Governator" is running for the recall. Even though the idea sounds we are infatuated by celebrities, Arnold Schwartzenegger (I believe that's how you spell his name) is more then competant to run for governor. The man actually understands California's status and it's economic depletion and downfall in the recent months. I mean when you have Gary Colemam and Larry Flint running, I think the whole state of California needs to flock to the voter's box and mark the chad next to Ahnuld. He's actually a very cultivated man, and I believe he could even be better then Jesse "the Body" Ventura, and what he did for Minnesota. I don't think this will go down in infamy for the country of the United States, but if we start having characters like Tom Green or Ben Affleck running for Gov., senate, or even (shiver) president, that's when you know you are in trouble.
