ok.... there are so many little boys and girls listening to all this music and it absolutely does nothing for them. I mean the singers who sing all these songs talk about sex love and nothing else!!!!!!!!! I know rap isnt the only music that talks about these topics.but whatever the music, There are millions of young teens looking up to people and famous celebrities in the media so heres a question for them: are you proud of the influence your music has on young teens like me?????????
OMG!!! i am sooo sick of people (like yourself) blaming their promblems on the entertainment industry!!! music in particular ... Nobody told you to listen to it... nobody was holding a gun to your head telling you to buy it . If you don't like it fine but don't balme the music because you and your peers can't control yourselfs. I've listened to hard core, rap, metal, punk, indie my entire life and i haven't shot anybody yet. And by the way every musical genere sings about love and lust at one point so if that bothers you you better stick to classical for the rest of your ever-loving life.
That might not make any sense but right now I'm too tired to explain it to you or to care .......
I dont like rap for the most part, but I say more power to the a-holes singing about what they wanna sing about. They dont force you to listen. You dont like it? Turn it off. You cant be the moral police for everyone, so control what you can, let go what you cant. Its a slippery slope when you say something isnt good for everyone else, because who draws the line? If they wanna listen to rap with bad lyrics (which is sucky music anyways) then so be it. Who really cares?
hey man their right if you don't dig switch to another station myself i do switch if I don't like or put in a CD it's not that hard

gabibff is right turn it off if u dont like it. it's not a big deal. why do people make a big deal out of nothing? yeah there are some rappers that only rap bout shaking your a** like pitbull but not all of them are like that like gritts (he's a christian rappper). so go find someone else to look up 2!!!
[QUOTE].Anyone ever listens to NAS, you know, he sang "I can".Well he is alright.[QUOTE] yes nas is the only rapper i like at all
I was gonna say something meaniful, I was gonna say something wise, I would have said something that meant something to me, but I lost my train of thought
Okay okay i was just reading all of this B/S you haterz have been posting.Look I listen to rap as a matter of fact my brother is a christian rapper and reaches many street kids with his gift. However stating that rap is effortless please rappers of all kind must have extreme vocabulary skillz'.Whoever that is out there telling ppl they need to go back to grammar school SHUT UP!You narrow minded stuck-up lil BIA'.It takes waaaaaaaay more talent to spit a rhyme than it does for those lil wack azz boy bands to form a korny lil song and dance routine or for a rock group to get on the mic and scream to the top of their lungs.Look don't hate on talent quit tryin to put ppl in check when its you that needs the checkin! If you are sooo against "EVIL" get off of the "EVIL" computer and go read a book.Oh and congradulations on being so smart,so educated wow im impressed you should take a bow and while your bowing kiss my ***.LOL LOL LOL Oh sorry for that remark I guess that damn rap music is rubbing off on me LOL
someone mightve already said this but i don't really feel like reading 10 pages. rap music/hip hop started out as something political and intelligent. the people that sang about the ghetto actually lived in the ghetto, they weren't on mtv wearing $84739260523 worth of jewelry. then, of course, the corporate music industry took a hold of it and completely changed it and repackaged it. hmmm....just like what happened to punk.

The songs I am talking about are the booty shaking, gangsta rappin, I'll kill you, take your loot, use it to buy drugs that I will then resell, after I do your b#&^%@ doggy style, cuz that's how it is in da hood
. The G-UNIT does all that.
Anyone ever listens to NAS, you know, he sang "I can".Well he is alright.

i hate country but that dosent mean i hate white people you have to admit rap is changing in the mid 90s it was pretty much all black culture but look Lil Wyte, Eminem, Bubba Sparxxx The Alchemist etc. being white and going platinum in rap is such a shocker anymore but us white boyz will always have some prejudice from racists and preps but whatever blow em off and keep going that made all those guys rich!

Eminem is actually a good rapper, he his so many song about his daughter Haley. Only few that I know are actually bad. I still don't think that rap is getting out of hand. You cannot make a generalization bsaed on a few bad songs. Nelly has a few bad songs but listen to 'over and over again' thats a good one. Or how about Kanye West, he has many good songs that don't talk about sex or drugs. Everyone just assumes that because there are some bad songs that all of rap is bad and it's not. And what about country? That's getting out of hand then because It's depressing and could make kids want to kill themselfs. Seriously, we shouldn't judge a whole dozen based on a few bad eggs. I hate when people do that.
