I know this sounds like I'm making this up right now, but I always thought "I Believe I Can Fly" sucked. I don't think I've heard any of his other songs though.

It doesn't surprise me at all that R. Kelly was faced with these charges. Sex is what most of his songs are about. The second and maybe the most important thing to look at is what happened about 8 or 9 years ago. R. Kelly was wed to deceased R&B singer Aaliyah. She was only 14. Their marriage was anulled by her parents I believe. Consequence? Er...I think not.

r kelly did seem like a good man but for me im not going to hate him i just hate the things that he did. i agree with a bunch of people who were saying that with the first video you didn't believe he did that but now since the have found pictures and more things IN HIS HOUSE then right now i just believe that maybe he did do these things and dosent want to admit it! but i have respect for his rhymes i dont really like all of his songs but in a way he was positive and now with these scandals its just hard to believe this.

I gotta admit, i love some of r. kelly's song. I mean i believe i can fly is the best song ever. But he is a bad man. i lost alot of respect for him. Honestly the first tape didnt bother me much, b/c i didnt think it was real. But now, damn another one. how messed up is his this guy. It sickens me to no end. I hope he gets charged for this.

Because I wasn't there so I don't know what happen so I can't just say R Kelly is wrong nor right.
Also Who am I to judge him about his actions? It won't make a diffence if I do or not.
Lastly, this happens almost everyday to children even younger than 12 and the person who did it sometimes gets away with it but when it comes to popular people, everyone knows and they are making such a big deal about it. That's just unfair to the other people and just wrong to that popular person.
I don't know...........NO child should undergo that. But NO person should undergo embarrassment like that neither.
Bye Have a nice day

Honestly, I still don't think it was R.Kelly. I think its a case of mistaken identity, his brother looks very much like how he did when shown in the pictures and tapes. Its an easy enough mistake, look at what that Genuwine look-a-like did. Prentending he was the singer and milking it for all it was worth.

But then again, it could be him. I don't know, I wasn't there. If it is him though, I lose all respect for him. Even though this country ain wanna see a black man succeed.
I still enjoy his music and respect him as an artist, but as an honest humane person. No.
Thats all I got to say, so

Cool *Star* Cool

I was just reading about R. Kelly being busted in Florida after the police found 12 pics of a naked, underage girl in his house (in 3 of those pics he's having sex with the girl) !!!!

Now you know, he's already facing charges for having sex with a 13-year-old girl in Chicago. AND he's been sued like 3 times by 3 different girls...all minors!!!

I've never been one to jump up and say that violent and sexual movies and music, make people (especially kids) violent and overly sexual. But this time I hafta wonder if we should have been paying more attention to the Bump 'n Grind man's lyrics---I mean, it's all he ever talks about??

Do we really have the right to be mad, when a few years ago millions of us were grooving to his nasty lyrics? (okay, so maybe you weren't but lotsa people were).

Ya know
I really didn't want to beleive that R.Kelly did it.
I'm a huge fan of his, and I really held out hope. But then he got hit w/ those 21 charges of Child pornography, and that broke my heart.
But if he really did do those things to that little girl
Knowing how young she was (cause I heard she did look kinda old 4 her age) then he should get locked up 4 the rest of his life

He has done things in the future? Unless life has strangely begun to imitate art and Phillip K. **** is a prophet, I doubt you know what he's done in the future. I heard some speculation that it may actually have been his brother (family resemblence, apparently). Does it really matter either way? The girl was a victim of statutory rape either way, so I offer this solution... flip a coin. Heads it was R. Kelly, tails it was his brother.
