Pink Floyd of course, sorry I did leave some out as I notice now...I think Led Zepp changed music more than Pink Floyd but they are also a timeless band.

And soooo many more, people who really inspired our music today....people who changed the music world in rap rock punk ska hip hop...who revolutionized thoes types of music. Not Nelly who used to sell cocaine and happens to be able to rhyme words...or Usher, god Usher haha.

I'd say the only one I can say is worth being on that list is Eminem, he really opened up rap music, to something it was never before...I'd agree with him, only.

i agree they all are crap. if i HAD to pick one it'd be eminem. but honestly i prefer Queen and Nirvana. slightly random.

I don't like rap at all, so I would have to say none of those, but my favorite musical group is Queen.

I have to agree with EarthGoddess. I have always thought U2 was the best.

The best artist from the list is LL Cool J. I would say Eminem cuz he's really talented, but he, along with the other artist on the list, can thank LL Cool J for his role in the development of hip hop and rap. And even though LL Cool J has been around since, what, the mid-80's, he still continues to come out with hits. He's definately shown a bit of longevity, we can't say all that about the other artists yet. My pick, LL.

Oh, and Usher is trying to be the R&B LL with the lip-lickin' and muscle flexin', and it seems to be workin' so far.

hands down, eminem. he's got some major balls, i can respect a dude like him.

as far as music i think eminem has ok songs, but overall as the best mucisc AND role model i think it would nbe usher

Wait, not all of them are bands. Edie Brickell and Freedy Johnston are artists.

Kool Keith, those guys cant even touch him or what he has done. All of them have sold out, and did it for the money, Kool Keith has yet to do that, he's also signed to 5 different record labels under 5 different names. Little Mikey, Dr Doom, Dr Octagon, Black Elvis, etc.
