Cliques? I don't do cliques. Most of my friends are band geeks, but that doesn't mean we're a clique. I have friends ranging from the gothic to the nerdy to the super-jock with everything in between. Heck, I've made friends (of a sort) with half of my school. I don't even see why we're classifying people. I don't want to be classified. I am me and that's that. I am not a nerd, I am not a jock, I am not a drama kid, I'm not anything. I'm in a way all of the above. But that's just me.

"i suggest all of you go and make friends with all kinds of cliques. i have my best friends, but during lunch, i go around and talk to lotsa my friends who are each from different cliques, and they all accept me. i like it, and i think it's better that being in a specific clique"-Parallax_position Go away.

Same. We are friends with the popular and unpopular. Best place to be, eh? Well, on the shallow scale that is.

Me and my friends were talking about this on at school a while ago. We are the group with connections! We know people who are really popular and friends with us and people pretty much in every group. But we decided the 'Group with Connections' wasn't fun enough so we came up with: 'The losers.... AND TRIXIE!' My friend Matthew (MALE) is Trixie.

Well, all of my friends say that I'm totally preppy, but at the same time, I love to hang out with all kinds of people. My best buds are punks, rockers, and skaters. I don't even have very many prep friends. And I know tons of guys who are jocks that hang with me all the time. I don't think it's so important to be in a clique, but it's really important to have good, true friends that will always be by your side.

I was talking to people from Saddle River and Oakland at a track meet, and I must say, my school is definately an exception. We have five hundred people in the entire high school, which caters to a small town of about 12,000. (As I have said before) everyone gets along in my school, and punks and burnouts often frequent the same parties as the jocks, preps, and "gangsters." (Our school has no gangs, except for the Crazy Mexicans, which isn't really a gang anyway.) In other schools people are downright evil to one another. I would probably never survive.

I'm just the school freak that most people make fun of/avoid. I have some inside of school friends, but I don't really hang with anyone. Cliques are so ****in' stupid. They're just xenophobic exclusionary groups of imbecils.

GEEK! And proud of it. I prefered books to people for a while, stopped speaking, found people who will put up with me. They're a mix. One can play the violin, and piano. The other unlabled, one peppy, one tries to be different every chance they get so can't lable them either. Everyone else says i am wierd so they don't talk to me or get to know me. So yeah i am a geek.

I hang out with punks, ROTC, Rockers, Fighters, Jocks and a ton of other people but I don't really fit with any of them so I just hang out as me

I get along with most people, even if I am an outcast, I am in too many groups to be labeled by ONE. I don't even hang with just one group of friends ever. Question to lost and broken: What is the point behind this thread, is it pro or con for cliches or something?

Clique are NOT your friends.Unless it's this one: The almost invisble, anti-social, tries to be cool, likes kick butt music "clique".

A stereotypical clique doesn't let others in. It's classified. It's tight. A group is open to others. In the stereotypical way, that is.
