Why do people look up to movie stars or singers. Behind all the clothes and fame they are just the same....sinners.And for those who believe in God he says no to idolize n-e one but him.I can understand as a young child you want some one to look up to...but i believe that the only person that will not let you down is God.

Celebrities are what makes life interesting. Without them, how would we get our daily share of gossip?? It amuses normal people when celebs' seemingly perfect lives are flawed by the imperfections that normal people face everyday.

celebrities have a certain something whether fake or real that makes them stand out. it's not talent or beauty either. They also have a lot of money and most people these days (including myself) are really materialistic. I think it's a phase though... hopefully!

i dont look up to celebrities at all. to me they are just regular people who have a kick a** job. it doesn't help they are also HOT! and just cuz they are sinners doesn't mean ppl shouldn't look up to them, i mean ppl look up to their parents and they aren't exactly angels are they. plus not everyone believes in God.

I didn't say Johnny (there's an h in there, dear) Depp was my God. I said I idolised Depp no more than I idolised God, because I don't believe in a God tied to a single religion. Some people are okay without God.
