Topher Grace of That 70's Show fame is in love with his best friend Rosalee, played by Kate Bosworth, in the new film Win a Date With Tad Hamilton. It's a comedy, but the drama comes into play when Rosalee wins a date with make-believe Hollywood heartthrob Tad Hamilton...and they really begin to fall for each other. Rosalee is a clerk at the Piggly Wiggly grocery store, but it's only when she starts making NOISE and fundraising for Save the Children -- efforts that help her win the date with Tad -- does her life begin to change. As the key charity on the set and in real life, Save the Children (an organization that has been working to help kids for over 65 years) is asking moviegoers and NOISEmakers alike to do "The Rosalee" and help them help kids in need. Here's how: - Save the Children, really! Go to: http://savethechildren.org/tad_hamilton.asp
- Sound off on what you think about cause placement in movies. Good or bad? Everyone's probably used to seeing product placements -- things like fast food in kids' movies and cars in action movies -- but what do you think about promoting charities in teen movies?
