yes it is much awesome and very much fun force every one you know to either watch the show or see the movie

Yes DAMN TO THE 9TH CIRCLE OF HELL(The circle reserved for people who anger or annoy me personally) MORONIC AND IMPATIENT FOX EXCEUTIVES!!!! Still I love the show and the movie and Sci-Fi I believe has the show bakc in production and the great thing about Serenity/Firefly? No Aliens. Man is on his lonesome in the universe, and yet the bad guys are still very kick ass and creepy, *shudders* those reavers are creepy as all hell

Sorta. Basically? Joss took a western and western-type themes, and put it into space. They're..space cowboys, if you will. I know that sounds cheesy, but Joss Whedon is genius. And his sense of comedy is amazing. It's nothing like Buffy or Angel, or Star Trek for that matter. It was a good show that was not marketing correctly by the television company. Serenity (the movie based on the show) JUST came out on DVD.

I keep hearing a lot about both the show and the movie. It must be a cult sort of thing. Is it anything like Space: Above and Beyond?
